This is the first picture I ever took of Emma at the market. ❤️ She has been a Farmers Market regular ever since, and for almost 10 years, we have shared a booth together.
The market has been so much more than a place where we come every Saturday. It has been a huge part of our lives and a place where Emma has grown up surrounded by an amazing “market family.” I’ve had the privilege of watching her grow—not only as her mom, but as part of this wonderful community that has cheered her on, encouraged her, and helped shape her into the kind, caring, confident, and outgoing young lady she is today.
Over the years, so many of you have watched her grow from a little girl into the young woman she is now. You’ve shared conversations, laughs, stories, and countless Saturday mornings with her. She has made friendships and memories here that I know she will carry with her for years to come.
This Saturday, August 22, will be Emma’s last market day before she heads off to college. As her mom, I couldn’t be more proud of her and all that she has accomplished. But I’ll admit, it’s going to be very emotional seeing her leave the booth and start this exciting new chapter of her life. 🥹❤️
Emma, I want to wish you all the best as you begin this next adventure. Follow your dreams, be brave, be kind, enjoy every moment, and always remember where you came from. I will always be behind you, cheering you on every step of the way.
I am going to miss you terribly at the market, but I are so excited to watch you spread your wings and see where life takes you.
I love you, Emma. ❤️ Now go make us proud! 🎓
