Can you wear a sports bra after breast surgery?

While sports bras are designed to reduce movement during exercise, they aren’t designed for the unique needs of post-operative recovery.

After breast surgery, your breasts need the right balance of support and comfort while healing. Depending on your procedure, a sports bra may compress and flatten the breasts rather than provide the type of support your plastic surgeon recommends during recovery.
