Inspired by Salaì, Leonardo Da Vinci's lover, pupil and muse — who is the face of many of his most famous works, including Mona Lisa, Salvator Mundi, Saint John's baptist — this editorial brings a contemporary fashion take on the the renaissance aesthetic, including references to Leonardo's paintings and sketches, renaissance’s lighting and the study of chiaroscuro.

Styling is not as easy as one might think. What distinguishes you as a creative will be your ability to not just manage a project, but establish your aesthetic. As for myself, it was always about stories and world-building, combining my love of fantasy, science-fiction, and art to create exciting editorials.

Here are a few examples of some of my favourite works to date

Creating manifestation is easy, but I am not the type to assert positive notions in place of hard work.
I've been doing this for almost four years, but I would not say I have perfected my craft. To truly be a master, you must consistently put yourself in a place of learning.
However, I won't downplay my experience, expertise, and my intelligence.

I will always make celebrate my wins, no matter how big or small.
And getting published in Vogue Italia is one of them.

When people ask me what I do, I tell them I am a Fashion Stylist.

Often, my knack for seeing the potential in everything gets a hold of me, so I often take on the role of Creative Director. It requires me to think critically and evaluate the sort of power the content I can create can have.
And for myself, my focus often tends to be about diversity.

For example, I receive stigma for my role within fashion due to my background ethnically, or my class. I also receive stigma for deviating from the stereotype of not being a nurse.

And don't get me started on the identity crisis Filipinos face when it comes to affirming our imagery. The notions of Filipina beauty is deeply colonized, as skin-whitening and hair bonding treatments still continue to be a stronghold within the community.

Therefore, as a Creative Director, my role is to be an authority on fashion and imagery by creating spaces that appreciate the beauty that every individual upholds, because that is diversity.

I suppose I should introduce myself properly, but to summarize I'm a Media Arts and Animation Graduate with a background in Creative Direction and Business Management.

I never really got any formal training behind my expertise in fashion, but I was passionate about it and was always taking the initiative to learn from its history and its design.
What fascinated me most was character design. The interplay between costume and character always fascinated me, seeing how little nuances can often play a large role in the narrative. In a way, this notion can apply both in fiction and reality.

My firsthand experience was as a film stylist for a student film called, "The Blue Jet", and it was a period piece set in 1970s Taiwan. This pretty much threw me into the work with very minimal experience, but in the end, I learned quickly.

In the end, what turned out to be my first film earned me a few accolades under my belt, and I discovered the sort of medium of art I want to work with for a very long time.
