Day 4…or should I say Day 10 of building a fall collection from scratch? 🫢

No shame here—this mom of two got caught up in back-to-school week. But we’re back to business!

Between that and some supplier setbacks, I’ve postponed early access. I’m not launching something I’m unhappy with just to meet a deadline. You deserve better than that. 💛

The good news? We’re almost there! I’m testing samples from two more suppliers, and if they pass, we’ll be ready.

Day 2 of building a mini fall collection of crewnecks and tees in just 14 days. ✨

I started with no finished designs, no suppliers, no printer, and absolutely no extra time. With the kids still home for the last stretch of summer break, I’ve been working the night and early-morning shift…and somehow, it’s been surprisingly relaxing.

I’ve also recruited my first official design assistant: my six-year-old daughter, who has been approving designs and loving the process alongside me. 🥹

Thank you to everyone who has purchased or asked about our crewnecks. I think you’re going to love this cozy, colourful collection as much as we’ve loved creating it.

A few of you messaged me after I shared this outfit on Stories asking where the yellow set was in the website… so I figured it deserved its own little outfit breakdown. 💛

Here’s what I’m wearing:

✨ 1. The Butter Yellow Shorts
I’m only wearing the shorts from our Butter Yellow Set (100% cotton gauze). They’re lightweight, super comfortable, and honestly I’ve been wearing more than once a week.

✨ 2. The Holalu Gauze Shirt
I threw on our butter yellow gauze button-up over the outfit. It’s also 100% cotton and perfect for those cooler mornings or when you want a little extra coverage without feeling too warm.

✨ 3. A little sneak peek... 👀
Underneath is our brand new “Fries Before Guys” tee! 🍟💛 It’s the tee version of our crewneck, and it’s officially launching August 1st. I’ve been wearing it non-stop while we get everything ready, and I couldn’t resist giving you a little preview.

Every piece works on its own, but together they make such an easy summer outfit.
And yes… the 41% Birthday Sale is still on for just a few more days, so if you’ve had your eye on the gauze pieces, now’s probably the best time. 💛
