Tis the Season for Giving... and Giving Back.

The holidays are upon us! As great as it is to receive, its even better to give back to our community.

This year, we will be doing a jacket and clothing drive at both our Vancouver stores (Kitsilano and Mount Pleasant) from December 16th -18th. We ask that anyone donating drop off a new or used piece of winter clothing at either location. If you are donating a used piece, make sure its in good clean, and wearable condition before donating.

Any guests who donate will receive a voucher for $50 off a $100 purchase.

Thank you and Happy Holidays!

On October 5th, we celebrated our guide and Coast Salish artist Charlene Johnny. She created custom-painted Kanken backpacks to be donated to the Stqeeye' Learning Society. Check out the link below to bid on the bags!

About the auction:
The Coast Salish Perspectives art show presented by Fjällräven aims to support local guide and artist, Charlene Johnny, raise funds for the Stqeeye' Learning Society. Three Kånken backpacks custom painted by Charlene will be auctioned with the proceeds going directly to the Stqeeye' Learning Society. Fjällräven will then be matching all funds raised for the society.

The Stqeeye’ Learning Society (Stqeeye’ is pronounced STAH-KAY-AH) is a charitable non-profit with a mainly Quw’utsun board based on Salt Spring Island with one part-time staff and many volunteers who help with programming. The central goal of Stqeeye’ is to strengthen cultural relationships to the land and water at Xwaaqw’um Village (aka Burgoyne Bay Provincial Park) and beyond.

Silent auction 'Kånken Art Auction for Coast Salish Perspectives' hosted online at 32auctions.
