Jenna has been coming to me for years for some of her most special looks. Holiday gowns, custom pieces, Halloween costumes, we’ve made a lot of magic together ✨❤️
These two Christmas gowns are some of my favourites we’ve built. The black and gold brocade and the floral maximalist ballgown, both completely one of a kind, both made specifically for her!

Kaitlyn and Zoë were my first ever wedding clients!! ✨
They were also marrying each other, which meant I got to make both outfits. I don’t think I fully understood what that meant until I saw them together on the day.
It was such an honour to be part of this one!
This is the kind of work I’m here for, big special moments that really matter. I’m currently booking 2027 weddings and October is genuinely the right time to reach out if you have a date in mind. Wedding pieces take months of collaborative development and a $500 deposit locks in your spot 🥰

Here’s me at 22, right around the time that things started to change!
I’d already spent years doing runway shows. I had momentum and I knew the kind of work I wanted to make.
Then COVID hit, and like a lot of people, the years that followed became about survival. I took every order I could, priced low, worked fast, said yes to almost everything. I kept myself busy and without really realizing it, I kept myself small.
That chapter is closing. ❤️
I just had a custom worktable built for my studio. It might seem like a small thing but to me it’s the most concrete sign yet that I’m building my business differently now. Fewer pieces, more time with each one, more intention about what I make and who I make it for!
I’m returning to the kind of work I want my name on 🥰
Custom pieces for moments that really matter- weddings, performances, events where what you wear shouldn’t feel close enough, it should feel perfectly perfect! That means no more story sales, no more rushing through orders just to fill the gap, and no more building a business around how much I can produce.

This look went to the Juno’s!!
I made it in 2024 for Henny💅 , who needed something that didn’t exist anywhere. Neon leopard print, tiered skirt, matching top, bikini bottom, balaclava. We had to order the fabric in from the States because you can’t just walk into a store and find the neon green leopard print!
It took about a week to build. The tiered skirt alone is a project because all that volume has to be controlled or it wears you instead of the other way around. We figured out exactly what the look needed to do, what she needed to feel like on stage, and then I built it around that.
That’s what a custom order actually is. It’s more than just a garment 🥰

Profaniski. March 2019. The collection I’m most proud of and honestly the most unhinged thing I’ve ever pulled off.
It started with photos of people on the ski hill in the 80s and 90s, all the colour & chaos had me feeling inspired as someone who identified as a ski bum throughout my teen years. I flew to LA in January to source fabrics, had custom prints made, custom graphics, custom elastic AND ski passes. We built a coat that was shaped like a glove (super proud of that piece)!
15 looks. Custom visual graphics on the backdrop. A full shoot on Cypress Mountain. Skrillex on the runway because it was 2019 and I was 21 and that felt correct. My mentor helped me pull the whole production together because there were about a thousand moving parts and I was very much figuring it out as I went.
The models cracked a Cariboo b**r at the end of the runway. It was that kind of show.
I was also the first designer to bring sizing inclusivity to the Vancouver fashion week runway, which I’m still proud of and probably always will be.

I made this tailcoat for Liv Hewson for a red carpet event last year and somehow never posted it. Criminal.
Custom work is my favourite thing I do, and it’s because of this exact experience. Working one on one with someone, understanding their personal style, figuring out how to put my own twist on it while staying true to who they are. Liv came in with a very specific energy and we built something around that together. Floral jacquard, tailcoat hem, zip-off sleeves, functional pockets, a 2 way zip (inspired by my switch dress design).
I’m not one track minded, I don’t have one aesthetic I’m pushing on everyone. I read you, I understand what you’re going for, and then we figure out how to make it actually yours!

September 2018. I was 20 years old and somehow showing at New York Fashion Week.
The collection was called Eat My Shorts. The concept was a family, a be**er car, a dad coming home from work and desperately trying to find the remote so he could watch the football game. I went to an actual car yard and pulled seat belts, upholstery, rear view mirrors etc. straight off the vehicles. I cubed toy cars and stitched them onto jeans. One of the jerseys said “where the f**k is the remote.”
A reporter backstage called me a fashion troll. I genuinely still think about that as one of the best things anyone has ever said about my work lol 💃🏻
The construction was rough! I knew it then and I definitely know it now. But something about that collection still sits with me, because there is a version of making things that is completely unhinged and totally unserious and somehow exactly right, and I think I had that figured out at 20 before I had almost anything else figured out.
Next up: where things went from New York❤️

Fall events are coming, and if you’ve been staring at your closet wondering why nothing feels like you, that’s not a you problem. That’s a fashion industry problem!!!
My dresses are gender expansive, made in fabrics you won’t find on a rack, built with silhouettes that actually make a statement, and yes, they always have pockets ☺️ Every piece is made for one specific person.

I couldn’t find what I needed, so I made it.
For the collection that went to Tokyo, I designed the fabrics from scratch, the concepts, the ideas, the specific weird things I couldn’t find anywhere in the world. My graphic designer Mel was the one who built them into actual prints, and together we put them into existence. The 8 ball print. The f**k school print. The 69 print. Neon checkers. Exploding Cars. Profaniski Mountains.
There is something about designing your own fabric that hits completely differently to sourcing it. When you build a print from nothing and then watch it walk a runway in Tokyo, or show up in Vogue, or get worn by someone who has never in their life found something that felt like them in a store, that feeling never gets old.
I fell completely in love with it. The prints multiplied. The obsession grew. The Profanity brand was born out of that same energy, loud, specific, and made for people who have always wanted something that didn’t exist yet.
That love affair with fabric and print is still very much alive for me ☺️ It just looks a little different now. More structured. More refined. But the same obsession underneath it all!
