Watch how we apply lace to a wedding dress.

The lace is carefully placed and pinned flat on a table. It is then transferred to the machine where Kelsey spends hours sewing with her favourite sewing machine foot. She secures the lace to the netting, stitching around beads and sequins, the trims away the excess netting.
The end result is the top layer of your dress looking like the lace has always been there.

In today’s video, I’ll show you the sketch of a dress that was never made.
When we work with our custom clients, sketches help to communicate the final design and act as a reference point when drafting the pattern.
For this bride, we started with this sketch, but the final dress idea is so much better!!! We can’t wait to share what she will wear down the aisle!

All the dresses!!!
Swipe through to see all of April’s fits for her wedding!

April has had to try on lots of dresses for her job (it’s SO hard) and when she slipped into our lace Sierra dress so we could check the fit, she gasped. She had accidentally found her dress, even though there wasn’t a ring on her finger yet. When it came time to design this dress, we knew exactly what the skirt would be…Sierra…but we changed up the bodice to a custom shaped cup in lace with satin drapes. Obviously we had to pair it with our Kate veil!!
