💛✨ 𝗔 𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗟𝗘 𝗛𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬, 𝗔 𝗟𝗢𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗧, 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗦𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗘𝗫𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜 𝗪𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗬𝗢𝗨! ✨💛
I've officially nominated 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗤𝗨𝗘𝗟𝗬 𝗨 𝗦𝗧𝗬𝗟𝗘𝗦 in the 𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟 category for the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗔𝗡 𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗦! 🏆🇨🇦
And here's the funny part…
𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗜𝗥𝗟𝗦 𝗗𝗢𝗡'𝗧 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗜'𝗩𝗘 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗬𝗘𝗧! 🤫✨
But there's a much bigger reason behind this nomination, and it's something very close to my heart.
I grew up watching generations of customers walk through the doors of my mother's dress shop. I saw firsthand how much our local businesses meant to the people who shopped in them, and how those relationships became part of the fabric of our community.
For over 100 years, Vermilion has been a shopping destination. Think about that for a moment!
People travel from Calgary, Saskatoon, across the Prairies, and even hundreds or thousands of miles. They have countless shopping options.
𝗬𝗘𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗬 𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗦𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣 𝗜𝗡 𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗢𝗡! 💛
And I think that's pretty remarkable.
We have something incredibly special in this community, and we've had it for generations. Wonderful independently owned businesses, incredible selection, and people who take pride in what they do.
So many Vermilion businesses deserve recognition, and I would love to see our community celebrated on a national stage.
That's what inspired me to nominate Uniquely U Styles.
I believe the shopping experience we've worked to create is worth recognizing.
And of course, all the Girls are a big part of that! And we certainly can't forget Greg, our tailor, who has been part of Vermilion's retail history for over 40 years!
We genuinely try to remember your names, the styles you love, and the little things that matter to you.
We celebrate your special occasions. We listen. We care.
And we don't just help you find an outfit.
