PROJECT FEATURE | CUSTOM BOW COVER

This Supra came to us needing a replacement bow cover after the original cover was lost.

We built a new custom-fitted cover using black Sunbrella fabric, PTFE thread, Dacron snap-line reinforcement, and Sunbrella binding.

The result is a clean, secure-fitting cover built to provide years of protection while looking great on the boat.

At Dockside Custom Canvas, we build our covers with the materials and construction techniques needed to stand up to the elements and keep your boat protected.

Another custom cover, built to last.

We had a fantastic time attending the Marine Fabricators Association Mid-Atlantic Regional Workshop in Virginia this past weekend.

A big thank you to Charlton’s Marine Canvas and Signature CanvasMakers for hosting an excellent event and welcoming marine fabricators from across the industry.

It was a great opportunity to learn new techniques, see the latest materials and equipment, share ideas, and connect with other marine canvas professionals who are passionate about quality craftsmanship.

We’re always looking for ways to improve what we do at Dockside Custom Canvas, and we came home with plenty of new ideas and inspiration!

🚤 PROJECT FEATURE | CUSTOM PONTOON MOORING COVER

Another boat protected and ready for the season!

This custom mooring cover was designed and built for a pontoon boat using Aqualon Edge, with Aqualon Edge Soft used in all areas contacting the upholstery.

We paid particular attention to the areas that take the most stress, adding reinforcement at pressure points and incorporating rain collars around the Bimini frame to help direct water away from the boat.

A properly designed mooring cover does more than keep your boat looking good — it helps protect your investment from sun, rain, dirt and the elements.

At Dockside Custom Canvas, every cover is custom fitted to the boat and built with durability, fit and protection in mind.

☀️ Enjoy your boat without the heat and glare!

These custom sun-shade panels are designed to provide excellent shade while still allowing airflow and visibility.

Our Phifer SunTex 80 fabric blocks up to 80% of the sun’s UV rays, helping keep your boat cooler and more comfortable on those hot Okanagan days.

Custom-fitted to your boat and ideal for boats, RVs, motorhomes, patios, and other outdoor spaces.

Not every project needs a brand-new cover.

Sometimes a professional repair is the smartest solution.

For this project, a torn and damaged section of the cover was rebuilt with Harbor Time reinforcement underneath for added strength, then finished with a flexible soft outer material for a cleaner OEM appearance and improved durability.

Using PTFE thread, this repair is designed to stand up to years of sun, wind, and water exposure.

Whether it's storm damage, a ripped panel, failed stitching, or worn areas, Dockside Custom Canvas is here to help keep your existing canvas working longer and looking better.

Custom Project Highlight!

This Itasca motorhome came to us with a windshield cover that had definitely reached the end of its life. After years of UV exposure and countless miles on the road, it was time for a replacement.

We custom-built a new cover using Aqualon Edge Soft, finished with Sunbrella binding and PTFE thread for maximum UV resistance and long-lasting durability. The result is a clean, tailored fit that's built to handle years of travel and changing weather conditions.

On a cross-country road trip, our customer sent us this review from Twillingate, Newfoundland, where the cover had already endured 115 km/h winds in Saskatchewan and torrential rain in Newfoundland—and performed exactly as intended.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

".....The cover has stayed put and the bonus is it dries really fast. Excellent workmanship, fit and finish. Dockside Custom Canvas is the company to use for any canvas products you may need."

Thank you, Phil, for trusting us with your motorhome and for taking the time to share your experience from the road. Safe travels, and enjoy the search for those icebergs!

If your RV or boat canvas is showing its age, we'd be happy to build something that's made to last.
