To all of our wonderful vendor neighbours, friends, and the kind strangers who rushed to help after the devastating windstorm at the Orillia Canada Day celebrations… thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped rescue us as the storm tore through the vendor area, destroying booths in a matter of seconds.

A very special thank you to those who called for an ambulance and cared for Brody after he was lifted off the ground while still desperately holding onto our tents to prevent them from striking and injuring others. During the chaos, one of the heavy concrete tent weights, still attached to the collapsing tent, swung back and struck him in the head.

He suffered a concussion and required five staples to close the head wound. Thankfully, he is home, recovering, and doing well. We know how much worse this could have been, and we are beyond grateful.

Our thoughts and prayers are also with the many vendors who were injured or lost their tents and merchandise in this heartbreaking storm. We know the physical, emotional, and financial toll this has taken on so many.

We have always believed that the vendor community is like family, and on Canada Day you proved it once again. Your kindness, compassion, and willingness to help complete strangers in a moment of crisis will never be forgotten.
