Be aware of scammers! I never thought the day would come that we’d be getting knocked off

After the Peguche Jacket was spotted in ‘s show Shrinking, the jacket went viral for a couple of weeks. With the increase in popularity… the scammers came lurking.

These people took the photos from our website and created fake postings to take advantage of our customers and still their money.

It pi**es me off that people would do that.

If you do want the jacket, the real one, the on wore on Shrinking, the one made by artisans in Ecuador, the one that takes days to make… checkout our site. The jacket drops 03.28.2026 (this Saturday)

Just a guy and his dog somewhere in the Utah desert wearing a jacket that was handmade in a small studio in the mountains of Ecuador.

8 years ago I started Remu with one idea: bring the craft of Ecuadorian artisans to the world. The Peguche has some become our most iconic product. Since then it’s crossed deserts, mountains, cities, and somehow ended up on Apple TV. It truly allows you to take a piece of the Andes anywhere you go.

Last year I had to shut everything down to focus on my health. Seeing photos like these reminded me why I started in the first place.

We’re bringing the Peguche back — one small batch, handcrafted by the same artisan family that’s been with us since day 1. Drop details coming very soon. Link in bio if you want first access.
