“Wayback Wednesday” this week goes back to one of my favourite races and favourite places to run in the desert. Las Vegas and their annual marathon and 1/2 marathon. This still in the time of independent race directors and personal race committee support. Sunday February 3, 2002. Running the 1/2 marathon, a great brisk desert course. I was enjoying running decently still, the start in the dark, everyone pushing out fast. I remember getting into a good dig with John Sinclair who was one of the great Americans on the roads in years gone by. A great Sunny day in the desert! It’s more than a run. “Run your run!”
