Primarily, I work with brides, and my 35 years of experience in the industry instills confidence in my clients. A wedding gown that looks and feels amazing to wear, and makes the bride feel like her dreams are coming true when she looks in the mirror, is a really important part of her special day. At the time of her fitting, a bride can see the transformation from varying degrees of "not quite rig

ht" to “oh my goodness I love it” (even when the pins are still in place), and all her worries and concerns about whether her dress will fit, go right out the window. When your alterations are complete and you come for your final appointment, a tutorial for bustling and lacing a corset is included (if applicable), and a look in the mirror at perfection typically brings a delighted smile, often followed with a few tears, and lol, occasionally some unexpected entertainment...after this fun-loving mother of the bride mastered the buttons and loops down the center back seam, we all had a good chuckle as she let her inner child loose and ducked under the train while she looked for the bustle attachment points on the inner layers :) ❤

After shortening the bodice and rearranging the appliques for better coverage, then shortening the hemline and adding a custom 8 point bustle, this lovely dress went from almost perfect, to offering pretty much everything the bride had hoped for, and then some... but the man of her dreams had a hope that she would wear his grandmother's pearls on their wedding day, and she wasn't quite sure how to make it work with her dress.

I've noticed that when the heart speaks, the inspiration isn't far away, and after the 2-tone necklace was repurposed (to serve as an easy to attach to the train) bracelet, it took on a life of its own, leading to a very special 'bride surprises groom' moment that was destined to become one of those cherished memories that will last for a lifetime
