We just added a little 8-track nostalgia to the Nook, and there are some absolute gems for collectors!

We're talking KISS, Blondie, the original 1977 Star Wars soundtrack, Eagles, Aerosmith, Cheap Trick, Earth, Wind & Fire and MORE!

And here's the fun part... a few of these beauties have even been played and tested by Ed Bain himself during CHEK News The Upside broadcast from the Nook! How cool is that?!

We've had people asking for 8-tracks since we opened, so we're pretty excited to finally have some on the shelves!

Somewhere along the way, we were told to grow up, be responsible, and leave the things we loved as kids behind.

But who made that rule?

The older we get, the more we realize how important it is to make time for the little things that bring us joy. Sometimes that's as simple as sitting on the floor playing video games like it's 1998.

That's a big part of why we created The Nostalgia Nook. A place where you're never too old to be a kid again.

Remember when Saturday mornings meant cartoons, you watched your favourite VHS until it wore out, and taking a photo meant waiting DAYS to see how it turned out?!

Well, former Victoria local Adam L'Heureux remembers, and he's put those memories into one beautiful book!

I genuinely LOVED reading Remember When. Every chapter brought back something I hadn't thought about in YEARS. From the little things we took for granted to the memories that shaped our childhoods, this book is such a wonderful trip down memory lane.

And the best part? We're bringing it to The Nostalgia Nook!
