I am a Lake Ontario gal from way back. I grew up in a Lake Ontario town and spent a significant part of my younger days at the beaches. Riding my bike down to the beach to canoe and kayak on the river. I later moved to an island in Lake Huron before making my way back to this peace of paradise on Lake Ontario. The Lake is calming. It brings me peace. Anywhere on the shore of the lake is one of my favourite places to be. A walk by the lake, catching glimpses of the big water from the 401, taking the train into Toronto.
So it is laughable that anyone thinks they have the power to change the name. It is Lake Ontario. It was Lake Ontario long before it was put on a map. It will always be Lake Ontario.
So I decided that I needed a Lake Ontario coaster. I mean it is even made with Lake Ontario water (Picton Bay is part of the Bay of Quinte which is part of Lake Ontario)!
Who else wants a Lake Ontario coaster?
