Our crazy little life...
For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Brea. I am the mother of Dax and Dae, step mom to Ainsley, and the wife of the most supportive husband around, Graham. We all live together in a cozy little space in Clairmont, Alberta and we love it!
Modern Dae Creative (you see where the name came from now...) is relatively new to us. I’ve always dreamed of exploring my artistic side and creating all these things that I imagined in my head, but those of you with young children know as well as I do, that after work and kids and a house and a marriage, there just isn’t time left.
When we welcomed Daesyn into our lives, in late October 2018, I knew this was my chance. I would have a year long maternity leave to explore and express my creativity. So I saddled up, swaddled my newborn, and started to create a business plan.
I officially launched MDC in February, and with the support of our friends and family, it was a great success! I spend my days tripping over toys, chasing toddlers, nursing a sweet little babe and creating the most amazing home decor, clothing designs, glassware and so much more, and it’s all thanks to all of our followers! The support has been overwhelming!
