Four years ago, I began the journey of Little Bugs & Me. I had a passion for quality timeless apparel that I was making for myself and family and decided it was time to share it with others.

If you've been here for any amount of time, thank you. Thank you for being here, and for supporting a dream I didn't know I had until it began. Whether it's a like, a share, a purchase big or small, it is all so appreciated and I'm so grateful.

While I do enjoy the stillness and beauty of winter, I cannot wait for the warmer weather to return.

While my pieces are can easily be layered for these colder months, there's just something so refreshing about wearing a favorite dress and going outside barefoot.

When I actually decided to purposely film every step of the sewing process, I realized just how many steps actually go into making a dress .

Pre-treating my fabric takes time, but I will never skip this step. Especially with cotton double gauze. When the fabric comes out of the box, it is so pulled and flattened that if I were to cut straight into it and sew it (and then you wash it that first time) it would shrink drastically. Pretreating is sometimes the difference between a garment that fits great and it being too small.

After the fabric has been washed and dried, I can serge, press, pin, and finally sew. And many more steps than I ever realized!!!
