RARE FIND!

This 1913-1914 Trulite top- lift Barn oil lantern was registered in 1912 before manufacturing.
Banner Trulite manufactured by O.L. & L. Co. Hamilton.
This style lantern was only made for two years, and then the style changed.

Because this short-globe hinged top-lift design was an unpopular short-lived experiment before being changed to a standard lift in late 1914, it is scarce and transitional, making it more interesting to specialized lighting collectors.

Vintage, Beacon cold blast oil, barn lantern in great vintage condition. These lanterns were made by GSW between 1927 and the 1960s. Before that, the Beacon lantern was made by SMP between 1911 and 1927 when the two companies merged. Another great Canadian product 👌
