how do YOU model kindness in your home?

when it comes to showing our peachy girl how to be kind, so much comes from our example. she learns a lot from how we treat her, how she sees us treat each other and others we meet along the way.

do we sometimes have to take a moment to reflect and do better? of course.
✅ we own our missteps
✅ we speak openly about what we’ve recognized to be improvable
✅ we apologize.
💬 and at almost 3 years old, our peach is a big-time contributor in those conversations.

kindness is a huge value in our family. we have some important measurables for how we practice and teach it…
but lately we’ve been the ones learning! the ability to see life through a child’s eyes… what a gift 🎁

happy Love Day, friends!

our day’s been filled with red + pink, hearts, some new activities and sprinkle covered everything.

however I’ve felt about this holiday before (spoiler: I was never a fan pre-parenthood 🙃), it’s now a great excuse to celebrate love.. and I’ll take just about any opportunity to do that. 🥰
