This past week we had the pleasure of shooting with the talented Tetiana · Vancouver lifestyle brand photographer before she moves to Vancouver to pursue her passion in photography.

The beautiful Krystle Dawn Snow was kind enough to grace us with her presence and flair. Krystle has a way of making everyone feel welcome and she has an ease about her with photos!

You’ll notice in my recent collections the blood line, a red stripe at the back of a garment which symbolizes that we are all one race, the human race. We all bleed the same blood regardless of gender, race or religion.

You’ll also notice the hand painted Melva vest (my current favorite). The genie top and the luxurious Judy pants! Which one do you like best and when can I have the pleasure of dressing you up?

Someone asked me if my hat was cultural appropriation, I said no, it’s the opposite. I love the hat so much that I want to wear it. For me if something feels good I wear it and wear it as often as possible. This hat makes me feel good so I wore it all Folkfest. With that said if someone does feel it is appropriation I would welcome a conversation because making someone uncomfortable is the opposite of what I do so please let me know.

For me it’s a smart hat that allows the airflow to move around my head while keeping me protected from the sun, it’s a great hat and I love it. I want to wear it all the time because of its characteristics and design.

Being out at the Folkfest you see lots of diversity in garment selections, style and uniqueness. For me it’s all about the flowy garments that can make you me smile and feel good. When I’m wearing something flowy I feel confident I can flow with ease.
