Yesterday was truly heartbreaking. What started as a sunny, hot Canada Day turned into a disaster in less than 10 minutes, no one could have prepared for this. Never would we have imagined this would happen to us, but weather is unpredictable. Tents don’t stand a chance in wind like we had, even with a foot and a half corkscrew anchors into the ground and 50lb weights on each leg. But our tent didn’t fly, it folded🤍
We’re so glad that everyone is safe and no one was seriously injured. Most of our product is salvageable and we’re so thankful for that, but we know other vendors weren’t as lucky. Our hearts break for the vendors that lost everything, we know how much time and love is put into a business and to have it all gone in an instant is so so sad.
Thank you to the group of kids that offered to help us clean up and gave me a hug, you’re truly the sweetest and we appreciate you so greatly. And all the volunteers that were helping endlessly❤️
Our tent frame may have gone to the tent graveyard but our pink canopy is fine which is the best part anyways! We can now say that our jewelry is not only cute but 100km wind proof💪🏼 All in all we will be okay. We will see you next year Brantford🫶🏼
