It’s been 5 weeks ~ and she is finally home!!

Hopefully during her time away ~ she had time to adjust her attitude and think about what she did wrong to make me mad. 🤬

Hopefully, now it’s smooth sewing going forward (and in reverse) at Mrs. Popper's House of Stitches!!!

OOPS! I did it again!!!!

I could simply not say NO ~ sew this pretty lady came home to Mrs. Popper's House of Stitches last week. She is a “Improved Seamstress” sold by the T. Eatons company in the most unique wood cabinet.

I have tried to search for her year of debut and have discovered that National Sewing Machine Company manufactured sewing machines for several different brand names for decades ~ which makes the search even more difficult as they do not apprear to have a serial number database for their machines.

For now, I will just admire how pretty she. 🥰🥰🥰

It’s amazing what you can find when you take the time to clean & organize your sewing space!!!

When cleaning up Mrs. Popper's House of Stitches I found a few duplicate notions in the diaster zone.

I can’t be the only one with this “problem” in their sewing/crafting room, right??? 🤔🤔🤔

It tool me All. Damn. Day to do but Mrs. Popper's House of Stitches Sewing Room Is looking great and I am ready to tackle new products in 2025.

My apologies if you 1st photo causes distress and/or chest pains to anyone who has not gone thru the “my sewing room is a disaster ~ and looks like a bomb went off it on” phase before.

Merry Christmas from Mrs. Popper's House of Stitches ~ this year was truly a handmade Christmas made of memories. 💖💖💖

As most of your know, earlier this year Neil’s dad passed away and I wanted to make this (first) Christmas special for everyone.

So, what started of as a box of shirts and jeans ~ ended up with me having to use/save every button, pocket, collar, label, cuffs and every single fabric scrap ~ I am proud to say that I was able to make a memory items for everyone in the family.

I made for The Boys ~ Neil, Jason & Jeff their dad’s infamous “Skoal Can” Memory Cushions.

I made The Grandkids ~ Cody & Kelsey Memory Body Pillows made with all pieces of Grandpa’s shirts and jeans.

And this is my favorite ~ for all of the great grandkid’s I made them Memory Teddy Bears from Grandpa’s jeans.

And last but not least ~ I was honored to be be able to make for my mother in law Judy a Patchwork Apron from Dad’s fanciest western shirts.

The late nights & sore hands from sewing made it all worthwhile to see the smiles (and tears) as each person opened their gift.

I hope I made you proud Dad/Grandpa Ron. 💖
