how it happened… LA BORSA DA VINO

an idea, cut out of paper, translated into a trip to italy, guidance from a master craftsman, visit to a vegan leather manufacturer, bags handcrafted by italian artisan, to a photoshoot back in nyc, to importing that missed the boat, surrendering all plans, renovations, new plans, moving, a lot of patience, a few more obstacles, a few chance meetings and finally realizing …

real success is acknowledging the progress, and being able to enjoy the simple things in life, even during challenging times — which all along was the motivation for the design.

the design and inspiration came about during lockdown in nyc. balancing the hardships of the pandemic and the isolation, yet anticipating happiness, when we could unite, celebrate and enjoy the simple things together again like — a glass of wine, in good company.
