An afternoon on a meadow with Heidi and Lari, where motherhood felt like light ✨

An afternoon with Heidi and Lari felt a little like the photographs themselves; soft light, open fields, laughter carried by the wind and the quiet kind of love that doesn’t need to prove itself. Surrounded by nature and the timelessness of worn leather, we were reminded that motherhood, much like the pieces we create, is shaped through living: through movement, tenderness, change, and the marks time leaves behind.

There’s a certain heaviness in the air lately. A kind of quiet Weltschmerz you can’t really ignore. The past weeks felt more like pausing than progressing…turning inward, questioning, rethinking, doubting. Not just for us, but somehow everywhere.

And then, in the middle of all that, this one phrase came up in the team: BLOOM anyway.

It stuck immediately. Because it doesn’t deny any of it. It doesn’t pretend things are easy or light. It simply chooses to grow despite it all. And that felt right.

As a brand rooted in leather, we kept coming back to what it teaches us. Leather doesn’t try to become something else. It simply is. It responds to what it encounters - touch, water, time. It changes, but never loses itself. It carries marks not as flaws, but as quiet proof that something has been lived, not just owned.

Maybe that’s what blooming looks like right now. Not perfect. Not effortless. But real.

What carries you?

For Vita, who lives in Ticino, it’s often change itself, the quiet shift of seasons, the first flowers in the garden, or the feeling of starting something new. Spring, especially, feels like a small new life to her. We also spoke about the small things in everyday life: rituals, favourite outfits, and why a simple leather belt can become an essential piece you reach for almost every day.

This month, I feel drawn to pieces that hold us. The Moon seat cushions has become one of those companions for me. Inspired by the full moon at the beginning of February, it carries the energy of balance, fullness and the gentle reminder that everything moves in cycles. Some days we expand. Some days we rest. Both are needed.

Crafted in different moon phases, it grounds the space in a very subtle way. Not loud. Not decorative for the sake of it. Just present like the moon itself. In the Indigo mood, it’s about depth, protection and coming back to yourself. A soft place to land. A reminder that you are allowed to slow down.
