For Remei, every day is , because we daily work for traceable organic cotton textiles by direct collaboration to real farmers.
That’s why, in 2023, we launched , to show what has too often been rendered invisible: The farmers who, with skill and devotion, cultivate our organic cotton. 🌱🧵
On our last visit to Tanzania, we met Kabula outside her home in the village of Mwambiti. The way she spoke about her family, her achievements and ambitions radiated pure pride and joy. This is Tanzania as we know it - extraordinarily rich in culture, resilience and possibility.
𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹, 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗮?
Today feels like a good day for me because my family is well.

It means a lot because it has great benefits. This year, I have no sorghum, no maize, but I know I will sell my cotton to buy food for my family.
𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗶?
Let me tell you - I’ve been with Remei for a long time, and I’ve gained a lot. Before, I hadn’t built a house, I didn’t have cows, and I didn’t have daughters-in-law. My family now lives in a brick house with an iron sheet roof. I have cows, I have goats. That’s the progress I’ve made through Remei farming, and I love it.
Thanks to our digital tool 𝗺𝘆-𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗶, we make the journey of final garments traceable, because embedding transparency at the raw material level helps build resilient landscapes, from Kabula’s village to you. 🔎
📌 We redefine equitable economic systems at tier 4 with traceable organic cotton textiles. Remei builds full-supply-chain-transparency for B2B-partners and their products. DM us if interested.
