The Stanley/Stella X Remei video 🎥 brings this to life.

Hearing directly from our cotton farmers makes the direct-to-farm approach tangible: long-term partnerships and real direct collaboration on the ground.

A transparent fashion system isn’t just an idea — it’s already happening. 🌟

Many thanks to Max Meunier and Yusuf Msafiri and to the team of Remei Tanzania Limited for your beautiful work.

When two pioneers come together, the result is more than a product — it’s a statement for transparency, circularity and design.

Lotta Ludwigson X Remei, introducing 𝗟𝗨𝗠𝗔, a T-shirt capsule combining circular design principles with our transparent, small-holder-inclusive textile supply chains.

Our organic cotton is grown by smallholder farmers in India and Tanzania, with whom Remei has worked directly for more than 𝟯𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 — supporting 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰, 𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗱𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, while building supply chains for 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆-𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀.

As Marion Röttges, Co-CEO of Remei AG, says:
"Remei provides the transparency, Lotta Ludwigson the emotion. Together we show that aesthetics and responsibility are not opposites."

As Charlotte Piller, founder of Lotta Ludwigson, adds:
"This collaboration shows how shared values can create impact across generations, company sizes and borders."

Cotton growing strong with Remei Tanzania Limited

Right now in the Tanzanian fields, Remei organic cotton is thriving🌿. After last month’s dry period, the rains have returned across the Simiyu region. You can already spot the first cotton flowers and it won’t be long until the fields are in full bloom.

At this stage, farmers are also facing some challenges: Heavy storms have damaged cotton plants in certain areas, and pests like aphids and thrips are creating additional pressure.
But giving up is not an option. Farmers are resowing where needed and managing pests with the support of Remei extensionists, who provide ongoing training and guidance📚. And it’s paying off. During our recent visit to the fields of our contract farmer Zuena, she told us that she is happy with how the cotton is growing.

In conclusion: rainfall is sufficient, challenges are being managed, and the spirit remains strong Despite the ups and downs, growing organic, traceable cotton enables nature-positive outcomes on a larger scale🌍🌱.

At the Remei HQ in Rotkreuz, new Autumn/Winter Collections 2026/27 for our B2B-Partners are already taking shape. Our design team is working at full speed to ensure we will look and feelgood next fall.

But, design isn’t just a quick sketch✍️.

Remei’s design process is aligned to our smallholders-inclusive supply chain management and includes a long-term commitment to organic cotton, planning for the availability of traceable materials, and laying the foundation for full traceability of the finished styles👗.

Thanks to our transparent supply chain, we can incorporate Remei's in-depth knowledge of each production step directly into the design process.
We use mono-materiality, and follow the principles of circular design, with the goal of achieving physical and emotional longevity for organic cotton textiles💚.

So, what will the new styles look like?
Of course, we're not revealing anything yet 😉, but stay tuned for sophisticated patterns, beautiful colours and timeless silhouettes.

𝗜𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗧-𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗮 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗮 🌍

For Remei, every day is , because we daily work for traceable organic cotton textiles by direct collaboration to real farmers.

That’s why, in 2023, we launched , to show what has too often been rendered invisible: The farmers who, with skill and devotion, cultivate our organic cotton. 🌱🧵

On our last visit to Tanzania, we met Kabula outside her home in the village of Mwambiti. The way she spoke about her family, her achievements and ambitions radiated pure pride and joy. This is Tanzania as we know it - extraordinarily rich in culture, resilience and possibility.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹, 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗮?
Today feels like a good day for me because my family is well.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗰𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂?
It means a lot because it has great benefits. This year, I have no sorghum, no maize, but I know I will sell my cotton to buy food for my family.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗶?
Let me tell you - I’ve been with Remei for a long time, and I’ve gained a lot. Before, I hadn’t built a house, I didn’t have cows, and I didn’t have daughters-in-law. My family now lives in a brick house with an iron sheet roof. I have cows, I have goats. That’s the progress I’ve made through Remei farming, and I love it.

Thanks to our digital tool 𝗺𝘆-𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗶, we make the journey of final garments traceable, because embedding transparency at the raw material level helps build resilient landscapes, from Kabula’s village to you. 🔎

📌 We redefine equitable economic systems at tier 4 with traceable organic cotton textiles. Remei builds full-supply-chain-transparency for B2B-partners and their products. DM us if interested.

Today, on the occasion of the , we celebrate our 4,000 farmers who form the foundation of our transparent supply chain 🤝🌍

At Remei, every fibre knows its journey. And you can read it 🌱 🧵👕

Each of our garments tells its own story. It begins with a seed, grows in carefully cultivated soil, is harvested by hands whose work is valued – and ends up on your skin.

In our carousel “6 Facts About Organic Cotton”, we share more about this precious raw material.

It has always been our motivation to bring the textile experts together with THE OTHER EXPERTS: Remei's contract farmers who grow organic cotton.

The Japanese group of Remei's cooperation partner Panoco Organic Cotton and cooperating Japanese brands visited Remei Tanzania Ltd. this week, where this year's organic cotton harvest is currently being brought in and purchased.
Meeting with the farmers who grow the cotton is not only a fundamental step within full supply chain transparency, but above all helps everyone involved to get to know each other and better understand the local impact.

This creates relationships that are essential to produce good textile products.

Panoco Organic Cotton, 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻, 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘂 𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻, 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗮 𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻,
thank you for visiting Remei Tanzania Ltd.!

Partnership across 3 continents: Remei - Panoco Trading - Ikeuchi Organic

Remei has been working with Panoco Trading in Japan for more than two decades. Based on the common goal of producing traceable organic cotton yarns from direct and reliable business relationships with Tanzanian smallholder farmers, Ikeuchi Organic, Panoco Trading's corporate customer, developed a wonderful concept to celebrate each new vintage of organic cotton!

Organic cotton is a product of nature 🌱.
100% of our Tanzanian organic cotton is rainfed, it is irrigated exclusively by the natural rain💧. The harvest quantities and parameters therefore vary slightly each year.

In the spirit of positively valuing nature, Ikeuchi Organic celebrates each vintage of Tanzanian organic cotton and its natural characteristics as a feature of its high-quality home textiles, as well as the people behind our organic cotton.

We are proud to be part of this great partnership and look forward to all future organic cotton vintages.
