Sometimes we get stuck while sewing. I collected some questions I asked myself to bounce forward quickly, as I wanted to finish my last project rapidly. It turned out that they are quite useful outside of sewing as well.

• Dressing up: is having a hug from my clothes.

• Let’s get dressed quickly, I have 5 minutes. Yes, but I should finish brushing my teeth first. Ok, let’s get dressed in 3 minutes.

• Why can so many people wear all black? I can’t — it looks so easy to get dressed up in.

• Hi, dear jeans. We’ve seen each other yesterday, and maybe Friday and Tuesday too? Today, you should take a break and get some sleep.

• This swimsuit and I don’t love each other. Who breaks up first? I’m still waiting.

• Just something safe today. Nothing fancy, nothing experimental.

• Does anybody actually think about Pantone’s colour of the year while getting dressed?

• As usual, my arms are longer than the standard measurements on the market…

• Will my favourite colour fix my mood today?

• This shirt is too much — is there a way to hide while I’m still wearing it? Don’t judge me…

• Are these jeans boring, or am I?

Unwanted pyjama in the wardrobe!

The colour was the only reason why I bought this mid-length sleeve t-shirt for the colour.

I tried to wear it several times — and each time,
I had the impression of wearing a pyjama.

Could’ve also grabbed a teddy bear as an accessory...

I was very far from even a “slightly something” style.
The colour just couldn’t do the job on its own.

So. Is there a way to restyle this top
- to save it somehow. With me.

This is how the first try looks:
→ Going for the horizontal fold.
→ Still thinking about the sleeve — just shorten it, or include a fold too.
→ And the neckline: change it, or leave it as it is.

The aim of the game?
To say good bye to the pyjama effect.
It isn’t my style — or Analog Imperfections’.

Unless you spend the whole day in front of a mirror, you’ll never see your look the way a selfie does. Or a webshop photo. Or anyone walking towards you on the street.

What you actually see — most of the time — is something like the photo above. The chest-down bird’s eye view. Very glamorous.

So here’s the Vonderful dress, as seen by me, its owner, on a regular Tuesday. White sneakers — because Spring said hello and I said yes. A hippy denim jacket with polka dots, crashing the dress’s quiet elegance without asking permission.
Extravagance through contrast. Different ambiances, different energies — why not.
Did it work? I felt wonderful(l) all day. That’s the only mirror that counts.
