📎Unsere Ikat-Weaves aus Odisha erzählen ihre eigene Geschichte.Die Garne werden bereits vor dem Weben gefärbt,wodurch die charakteristischen,sanft vershwommenen Muster enstehen- lebendig,kunstvoll und voller Tiefe.
📎Dann ist da unser echte handgewebter Musselin aus West Bengal. Leicht, atmungsaktiv und angenehm weich auf der Haut. Eine Technique,die Geduld und über Generationn weitergegebenes Wissen verlngt.

Jedes Stück verbindet Handwerk mit Bedeutung- gemacht, um nicht nur getragen sondern auch gespürt zu werden.

Hi, ich bin Ekta, Designerin von Peacock.Geboren im Himalaya-Gebiet in Indien & heute in der Schweiz zuhause. Meine Reise ist geprägt von Kreativität und der Liebe zu den einfachen Dingen: Backen, Nature & ruhige Momente.Aufgewachsen zwichen wunderschönen Textien- z.B.Seide, Brokat, handgewobene Ikat, Khadi usw. Ich habe erst nach meinem Umzug gemerkt,wie sehr sie mir fehlen.

Aus diesem Gefühl heraus entstand Peacock- um zeitlose,handgefertigte Textilien zurück in den modernen Alltag zu bringen.

Hi, I am Ekta designer behind Peacock. Born in the Himalayan region in India, now calling Switzerland my home. My journey is shaped by creativity and love for simple pleasures: baking, nature and quiet moments. Growing up surrounded by beautiful handwoven textiles like silks, brocades, ikats, khadi etc- I didn't realize how much they meant to me as I moved away. Peacock was born from that feeling, to bring timeless handcrafted textiles into modern everyday life.

More than clothing, it's a connection to home.
