We've already introduced you to Christian Simon, our new field tester. Christian is a professional sailor, and he took the time to answer some of our questions about our jacket! Here a few of them :

Dimpora : Can you tell us more about your current project?
Christian : This summer, I will explore Lofoten, because I am trying to get more knowledge of these waters. Since I am a hobby photographer, my goal is to capture as much wildlife as possible combined with sailing.

D: What are your first experiences with the dimpora jacket?
C: So, it's started when I was on a movie shoot in Lofoten, and I got introduced for trying the jacket. I was surprised how well it looked and at the same time kept me dry.

D: What criteria do you use to select your equipment?
C: Quality is number one for me, since the conditions can quickly change and be pretty harsh, I need equipment to rely on. But at the same time, it's madatory to keep it as environmentally friendly as possible.

Tim is back in the lab! Despite his short absence, he never really disconnected with dimpora. Besides his studies, he has been working as a delivery in Zürich city. To carry out this mission, he teamed up with a dimpora jacket. How did the latter perform ?

"The rain jacket with the dimpora membrane, that I could test, was what I expected from a good rain jacket. It felt light and flexible enough for biking through the city and it kept me warm without too much sweating during cycling. And although I could not feel it, I was great to know that the rain jacket was entirely PCF-free."

These days have been eclectic for our team!

First, Mario went to Amsterdam for the High-Tech Partnering Conference.

Then, Raffael attended the ISPO fair in Munich, where he enjoyed presented dimpora products.

Finally, Anna and Mario travelled to Stockholm in order to attend the Global Change Award expo. As former GCA winners (2019), it was a pleasure to be part of this amazing event with H&M Foundation and many other brands concerned with the innovation of the textile industry.

Looking back at the High-Tech Partnering Conference, which Mario attended on the 12th of April. It was the occasion to exchange ideas with stakeholders of the startup scene and learn through interesting keynotes.

Although we will not be able to join this time, we wish all participants a wonderful , taking place on the 14th and 15th of June. is the biggest European early stage seed investor in high-potential, tech-driven start-ups. Do not miss the occasion to connect with their wonderful network, to which we are proud to pertain!
