MDK - Miranda Kaloudis At my core lies a deep reverence for crafting timeless, meaningful leather goods. Artisanal Craftsmanship - Minimalist Design - Timeless Aesthetics

At the heart of MDK – Miranda Kaloudis lies my deep reverence for crafting leather into timeless, meaningful designs. My work is a laboratory for experimentation, that transcends the traditional boundaries of leather goods, constantly seeking new ways to reinterpret design. In each collection, I delve into the anatomy of a single concept. A conscious exploration of every facet, through which I cre

ate not just accessories, but also stories of form and function. I bridge the craftsmanship and tradition of the past with the innovative visions of the future. Inspired by the Pythagorean appreciation for numbers and geometry as the foundation of all beauty and harmony, this dialogue is always underpinned by a timeless and mystic constant. The design language varies from organic curves to sharp, clean lines, yet the design remains sleek and cohesive. The natural beauty and imperfections of leather are cherished, each marking viewed as a narrative of a former life. By extending my explorations to knit designs, I enrich the tactile experience of the collections. My design resonates with those who appreciate artisanal craftsmanship, minimalist design, and a timeless aesthetic.

6th-9th March

Mnēmosýnē was one of the Titans in Greek mythology, who are the children of Uranus (Sky) and Gaia (Earth).

She was the goddess of memory.
The name Mnēmosýnē is derived from the Greek word mnēmē (‚remembrance, memory‘).

Still playing around with antique metal frames.
Many of the frames are only available in limited quantities.
First come, first served.

A decade ago, I began collaborating with artisans in the serene countryside of Banja Luka, Bosnia & Herzegovina, who have since become integral to my brand.

In their workshop, I discovered vintage metal frames once used for crafting doctor’s bags, forged by companies from the former Yugoslavia.

These frames, adorned with a unique patina from decades of history, have been thoughtfully incorporated into a special limited edition collection.
This integration not only honors the artisans‘ heritage but also intertwines their rich history with our own, creating a unique synthesis.

Letting go of these pieces does not come easily. For now, they have been entrusted only to a small selection of shops I deeply respect, and to a few customers through direct contact.
They are not yet available online.
If one of these rare pieces speaks to you, feel free to reach out — knowing where they find their next home matters to me.

For years, I kept the idea of a drawstring bag quietly on my list — simple in concept, but never quite ready to begin.

I needed a detail, a shift, a form that would make it unmistakably mine.

When the silhouette began to resemble a bloom, soft yet structured, it found both its shape and its name:

Just a short distance from where we shot by the spomenik last winter, we came across one of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s quiet natural wonders:
Bobijaško oko — Bobija’s Eye.
A mysterious karst lake set beneath the slopes of the Grmeč/Bobija massif.

More than a lake, it is an estavelle — a place in constant transformation. With rain or snowmelt, underground water rises and the shaft fills with deep blue. In drier moments, it withdraws, revealing a cenote-like pool carved into limestone walls.

Its name comes from its form — a giant eye gazing upward. And standing there, it feels exactly that: as if the earth itself is watching, breathing, remembering.
