On March 28th at 18:00, the Live Performance of the Doing Fashion Graduates 2026 will take place in the foyer of Kunsthaus Baselland, transforming individual bachelor projects into a collective performative event.

These 8 studios are coming with us to Paris! CONGRATS! 🍾💜

MAISON SHIFT and an international jury have selected 8 independent Swiss studios from the fashion, textile, jewelry and accessories sector to sell and discuss their work in a dynamic setting during Paris Fashion Week in late September 2026.

The Swiss brands will connect with local industry players and makers for a Franco-Suisse design exchange to explore and elaborate on alternative fashion futures.

The winners of the MAISON SHIFT Residency 2026 are here!

From April to October 2026, two graduates from Switzerland’s textile and fashion design scene will have the opportunity to work rent-free in our project space.

Meet our residents:

Christophe Ascençao is an industrial designer based in Zurich, graduated with honors from ECAL. His practice centers on textile innovation, with a particular interest in 3D knitting and material-driven design. He explores how technical textiles can be reactivated and reimagined to create new kind of objects and spatial experiences, combining circularity and sensory comfort.

Mitja Haring is a fashion designer exploring vulnerability, resilience, and communication through garments. Inspired by natural cycles and tensions within the human condition, his work challenges social taboos around illness and fragility. Through material experimentation and considered construction, his designs balance protection and exposure, strength and sensitivity.

Open Call: win 10 hours of coaching sessions with the founders of !

Sylvie Merlo and Karen Rauschenbach will guide you in integrating circular economy and cradle-to-cradle principles into your business model in a realistic, effective, and appropriate way for your label. The coaching is aimed at small fashion and home textile labels and combines strategic clarity with practical feasibility. The focus is on design and material decisions, the supply chain, communication, and the development of a clear roadmap. And you will receive a sound basis for deciding whether and when C2C certification makes sense for your label.

You are also going to become an associate member of Circular Clothing for two years, financed by MAISON SHIFT, so that you can benefit from regular exchanges with other CC members.

Paris is calling!
In collaboration with the Parisian design network .family , the Swiss Arts Council and the , MAISON SHIFT is looking forward to promoting eight Swiss brands from the fashion / textile / jewelry / accessories sectors during in September 2026.

From Sept 28 – Oct 5, 2026, selected studios will benefit from exhibition & showroom space, professional sales support, a dynamic public program and exclusive networking opportunities, plus a chance to be featured in the CCS curated museum shop.

This year’s event sponsor .ch will additionally invite one winning brand for an exclusive two week Pop-Up at their Zurich Bahnhofstrasse store in April 2026.
