MIRÉ는 단순히 아름다운 옷을 만드는 것을 넘어
왜 이 옷을 만들었는지, 어떤 소재를 선택했는지,
그리고 어떻게 오래도록 함께할 수 있는지를 중요하게 생각합니다.
무엇보다 감사했던 것은

서울은 저의 뿌리이고,
뉴욕은 패션인으로 성장한 곳이며,
취리히는 MIRÉ가 태어난 곳입니다.

Our first MIRÉ Private Presentation in Seoul. 🤍
Surrounded by the quiet beauty of a traditional Korean hanok, we presented the MIRÉ FW26 cashmere collection in person.
A moment to feel the warmth of the materials
and share the stories behind them.
At MIRÉ, creating beautiful clothes is only part of the story.
What matters equally is why a piece was made, which materials were chosen, and how it can be loved and kept for years to come.
What meant the most was seeing how deeply so many of you connected with those values.
Seoul is where my roots are.
New York is where I grew in fashion.
Zurich is where MIRÉ was born.
The different rhythms and sensibilities of these three cities come together in one language through MIRÉ.

Golden hour in Zurich, wearing the piece I’ve reached for almost every day this summer: my MIRÉ 100% cotton T-shirt.

The Woman I Am Becoming At 51.

I no longer admire having more.

I actually admire needing less.

I choose quality over quantity.

Quiet over noise.

Meaning over trends.

Natural over synthetic.

Timeless over temporary.

I’ve stopped chasing perfection.

I’m learning to choose what lasts.

Time has become my greatest luxury.

Time with family.

Time to create something that I love and believe in.

Time to notice beauty in every little moments.

I’ve realized confidence doesn’t need attention.

Neither does true beauty and inner peace.

MIRÉ wasn’t created to follow fashion.

It was created to reflect a way of living.

Fewer pieces.
But Better pieces.

Perhaps this is the woman I’m still becoming at age 51.

Three weeks in Seoul and Tokyo reminded me of something I often forget in everyday life.

The world moves fast. But the most meaningful things never seem to.

A carefully prepared meal.
A beautifully crafted object.
An evening walk without looking at the time.
A conversation that stays with you long after you return home.

Travel has a way of creating distance—not only from home, but from our routines. And in that distance, it becomes easier to see what truly matters.

This trip confirmed something I’ve believed for a long time: quality isn’t about excess. It’s about intention.

It’s choosing fewer things, caring for them well, and allowing them to become part of your story.

That belief has shaped MIRÉ from the very beginning.

Thank you, Seoul and Tokyo, for the inspiration, the craftsmanship, and the quiet reminder that beauty doesn’t need to be loud.

What is one lesson you always bring home after traveling?

Seoul welcomed me back with familiar memories.

Tokyo reminded me how beautiful simple thongs can be.

Travel slows time in the best way.

The older I become, the less I travel to escape.

I travel to see life more clearly.

Beauty is rarely loud.

It’s found in thoughtful details.

In craftsmanship.

In everyday rituals.

Some of the best moments weren’t planned.

An ordinary bus ride.

An evening walk.

A simple coffee.
But A conversation I’ll remember.

I packed less than ever before.

And somehow, I needed nothing more.

Travel changes your perspective.

Not because the world changes.

Because you do.

I came home with fewer desires, but greater clarity.

The greatest luxury of travel isn’t where you go. It‘s how it changes you.

Travel has a way of making you see the world—and yourself—differently.

Every time I arrive in a new city, I become a beginner again. Different streets, different culture, different ways of thinking. I leave my expectations behind and rediscover the curiosity of a child.

Building MIRÉ feels much the same. It doesn’t matter that I‘ve spent over 30 years in the fashion industry. Becoming a business owner is a completely different adventure—one that constantly challenges me to learn, adapt, and stay open.

I’ve realized that the best ideas don‘t come from experience alone. They come from letting go of assumptions and seeing the world with fresh eyes.

Tokyo reminded me that the best designs begin with an open mind. Every journey shapes the next MIRÉ collection, inspired by curiosity rather than trends.

One of the most memorable experiences in Tokyo was チームラボプラネッツ teamLab Planets TOKYO - Every moment was worth it. It reminded me what it feels like to experience something with genuine wonder, curiosity, and no expectations. I would recommend it to visitors of every age.
