Customized double-membrane gas holders
Double-Layer Membrane Structure:
Inner Membrane: Directly contacts the stored gas (e.g., biogas). Made of a specially coated fabric (e.g., PVDF-coated polyester fiber) with high airtightness, resistance to gas corrosion (especially H2S), and high tensile strength. Its main function is to form an airtight space for gas storage.
Outer Membrane: Covers the inner membrane and does not directly contact the stored gas. Made of a specially coated fabric (e.g., PVC-coated polyester fiber or PTFE-coated fiberglass) with excellent UV resistance, weather resistance (resistant to wind, frost, rain, snow, and sun exposure), tear resistance, and puncture resistance. Its main function is to protect the inner membrane from external environmental damage and form a pressure-regulating chamber with the inner membrane.
Bottom Membrane: Lays on a concrete or geomembrane foundation. Made of high-strength, corrosion-resistant, and puncture-resistant materials, it is sealed to the inner membrane and foundation edges, forming the lower boundary and airtight foundation of the gas storage space. It usually also has an impermeable function.
Pressure Regulating System:
Blower: Core equipment, used to blow or extract air into or out of the pressure-regulating chamber (or air layer) between the inner and outer membranes.
Pressure Sensor/Control System: Monitors the gas pressure inside the inner membrane and the pressure in the pressure regulating chamber between the outer and inner membranes in real time, and automatically controls the blower operation to maintain the set pressure balance.
Foundation:
Typically, a reinforced concrete ring foundation or a treated stable foundation is used to fix and seal the edges of the bottom membrane, inner membrane, and outer membrane.
Accessories:
Inlet/Outlet Pipes: Pass through the bottom membrane or foundation, connecting to the inner membrane's gas storage space.
Safety Valve/Emergency Vent Valve: Prevents overpressure.
Condensate Drainage Device: Removes condensate accumulated inside the inner membrane.
Inspection Door/Manhole: For internal inspection and maintenance.
Lightning Protection Grounding System: Ensures safety.
Measuring Devices: Such as radar level gauges, pressure gauges, etc., used to monitor the gas storage volume and pressure.
