🔍 Product development is often about solving one problem… without creating another.

Recently, we encountered an interesting challenge during development.

On a black knit upper, the standard adhesive could sometimes become visible through the material. To improve the appearance, we tested an additional layer between the upper and the reinforcement components.

Sounds like a good solution, right?

Well, not quite.

While it helped address the glue visibility issue, it also reduced the bonding performance between the TPU decoration and the knit upper, increasing the risk of delamination. ⚠️

So the solution created a new problem.

That means we're back to testing and exploring other options.

And honestly, that's exactly why development exists.

A lot of footwear innovation happens long before a product reaches the market. Sometimes the best outcome isn't finding a quick fix — it's identifying a potential issue before the customer ever experiences it.

We'd rather discover challenges in the factory than have consumers discover them later. 👣

The testing continues, and we'll share the final solution once we're satisfied with the result.

The answer might surprise you.

We're currently working with a customer who is using a foil-based material as part of their insole construction. The project is already in production, and we're excited to see the final result. 👟

Why are brands interested in this type of material?

✨ Interesting possibilities for Autumn/Winter footwear

Right now, we're sharing some of the material samples we're evaluating.

We've created several 2026 Fall/Winter color concepts for one of our best-selling kids' barefoot shoes, and we'd love to hear your thoughts. 👣

Just to clarify:
🍂 These are Fall/Winter color inspirations
🌬️ The shoe itself remains a breathable mesh style
👟 This is still an all-season barefoot shoe, not a winter boot

We're considering producing a small ready-stock batch and would like to understand which colors are most attractive to brands, distributors, and retailers before moving forward.

👟 Sometimes the best result is not the result we expected.

This BS-03 project features a highly breathable upper with larger mesh openings than a typical flyknit construction. Great for airflow and summer comfort. 🌬️

Recently, the customer asked whether applying a waterproof spray could make the shoe waterproof.

Instead of guessing, we decided to test it.

The result?

While the spray helped improve water resistance to some extent, the mesh openings are simply too large to achieve true waterproof performance. 💧

Could we have just said "yes" and moved on?

Of course.

But that's not how we like to work.

As a manufacturing partner, our responsibility is not only to make products — it's also to verify ideas, test assumptions, and provide honest feedback before products reach the market.

Sometimes an idea sounds perfect in theory.
Real-world testing tells a different story.

And we believe brands deserve the truth.

We've recently partnered with a new sock manufacturer and started evaluating several barefoot sock and grounding sock samples. The goal is simple:

✔ More complete product collections
✔ Easier sourcing and development process

⚡ Testing never stops.

We’re currently testing a new conductive material that may be used in future grounding shoe outsoles. 👣

The video shows a simple conductivity test using a multimeter — still in the development stage, but the results so far are looking very promising. 📊

For us, grounding shoes are not just about adding conductive parts.
We continue exploring:
