Bellinis, early aperitivo, pasta alle vongole, Murano glass, the Biennale, and cruising the canals by boat, Venetian style. Add a few palazzos, a little dolce vita, and endless beauty around every corner.

Waking up to this! We couldn’t have picked a better location for our little Venetian home away from home. Opening the windows every morning and seeing Venice come to life right outside felt like a dream.

Palazzo Soranzo van Axel
A beautiful exhibition, plus a private Bottega Veneta showroom in the same building. You’ll need an appointment for the showroom. This room looks like April First 300 years ago.

Orient Express Hotel
We stopped in Cannaregio for a matcha, although a Bellini would have been the better choice! When in doubt, always order a Bellini.

Take the boat at any time, it’s worth it!

The journey home a traditional Venetian boat ride to the airport during golden hour. Back in Berlin just before midnight exhausted, but with four unforgettable days behind.
Our annual girls-trip was unforgettable.

A lovely little reminder that April First has always been about more than just fashion. It’s about the feeling of a space the colors, the objects, the people and everything in between. A space I designed more than 10 years ago, and one that still feels timeless today.

🍷 Paris Day 3+4 and I promise, this is the last spam from Paris Fashion Week!

Day 3 started at Première Classe to check out some cute little accessories, then off to some of my favorite denim brands. I took the bike everywhere because the weather was amazing and the showrooms were so far apart from each other. 🚲

A quick visit to Merci, as always, and then I finished the evening at the newly opened Sant Ambroeus before heading home the next day.

And that’s a wrap from Paris! ✌🏽

🍷 Paris Day 2, Bonjour beautiful buyers!
The city is showing us her most beautiful late summer with 25 degrees and giving us exactly the right mood when buying SS27!
8 showrooms on the agenda today, with lots new brands to discover. I always like to check out a fresh names each season because you never know when you’ll find the next April First favorite.
