PART 1: USING CREATIVITY TO TRANSFORM WASTE ♻️

Upcycling Station at :
“Fabric Scraps Into Keychains”

Hundreds of people came by this open table during Fashion Week, and created their keychain.

This is one of my favourite things about upcycling — there are no rules for what something should become. You look at what you have, play with it, get inspired by what others are making, and create your own version.

A big thank you to for donating their broken and deadstock materials, we got to give them a second life 🖤

And to for running this station with us 🫶

One of the biggest sewing superpowers is learning how to copy and redesign clothes you already love.

Next Tuesday in the Redesigner Drop-In Class, we’ll learn how to trace the pattern of a top, redesign it, and use the material of something else to create a new original piece.

These were all made by students during the course, using other tops, leggings, fabric scraps, shirts.

If you already know the basics of sewing, you can join this class without committing to the full 8-week course.

🔸REDESIGNER COURSE

For those who already know and feel comfortable with the machine and all the basics, and want to go deeper into creative redesign and patterns.

Tuesdays 18.00 - 20.30
Saturdays 11.00 - 13.30
