Deidre is a Canadian award-nominated writer and filmmaker based in Berlin. Her work has appeared in more than 50 publications, including The New York Times, WIRED, The Cut, NBC News, and Vice. She was a 2021 Canadian National Magazine Award nominee and a 2020 Canada Council for the Arts grant recipient. She co-wrote the forthcoming short film A DJ in the Territories, nominated for the 2022 Palestinian Sunbird Competition, and is currently writing a memoir about betrayal, self-destruction, and healing.

On 11 June, FRANK BERLIN is celebrating a new chapter with an evening on mental health.
Expect invited talks, reflection, and open exchange with speakers from psychology, research, and lived experience.

Not a therapy session.

For anyone interested in mental health, psychology, research or the strange work of being human.
