Today, I officially received my appointment as Professor of Fashion Design at Weißensee Kunsthochschule Berlin.

I am incredibly excited to take on this new challenge and look forward to working with the students, my colleagues in the Fashion Design department and across the Hochschule.

I feel honoured and grateful for this opportunity.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way. And a special thank you to my students at Macromedia University and previously at Atelier Chardon Savard, who have contributed so much to my joy of teaching Fashion Design over the past eight years.

I’m very much looking forward to this new chapter.

Out of Darkness, Light Emerges

Exploring contrast through material manipulation. Pigmented latex applied to wool creates a stone-like surface, while black and beige threads build a woven texture, expressing the balance between light and shadow.

It was a pleasure to be jury at for this semester project.

In this post: a project of Lucie Zimmermann and Delia Du Pasquier in which Craftmanship and AI intertwined in the creative process and its representation.

„Through artificial intelligence we project our own appearance in order to fullfill the emptyness left by our modern society. This full latex project proves that those machines nourished by prompts and images will never be a real human.“
