Die Bibel wird von den Gewinnern erzählt.
Das war der Gedanke, aus dem "The Other Side of Eden" entstanden ist — mein neues Album - entstanden mit KI und viel Geduld. Zwölf Geschichten aus dem Alten Testament, aber diesmal singt nicht der Held. Es singt die Schlange, die nur eine Frage gestellt hat. Kain, der erste Ausgestoßene. Hagar, zweimal in die Wüste verstoßen. Goliath, dessen ganzes Leben auf einen einzigen Nachmittag zusammengeschrumpft wurde.
Ich bin nicht gläubig — nie gewesen. Ich habe diese Geschichten immer einfach als Geschichten gelesen, genauso wie jede andere Mythologie. Genau aus dieser Perspektive ist das Album entstanden: keine Blasphemie, sondern Empathie. Was, wenn "die andere Seite" auch Angst, Liebe und ehrliche Fragen hatte?
Der rote Faden durch alle zwölf Tracks: Wer fragt "warum", wird dafür bestraft. Die Schlange fragt und wird zertreten. Miriam fragt Generationen später dieselbe Frage und wird mit Krankheit bestraft. Track 12 bricht bewusst mit der Chronologie und lässt am Ende alle zwölf Stimmen gemeinsam singen.

That's the thought "The Other Side of Eden" grew out of — my new album, made with AI and a lot of patience. Twelve Old Testament stories, but this time the hero doesn't sing. The serpent does — the one who just asked a question. Cain, the first outcast. Hagar, cast into the desert twice. Goliath, whose entire life got reduced to a single afternoon.
I'm not religious — never have been. I've always just read these stories as stories, the same way I'd read any other mythology. That's exactly the lens this album is built from: not blasphemy, empathy. What if "the other side" also had fear, love, and honest questions?
The thread running through all twelve tracks: the ones who ask "why" get punished for it. The serpent asks and gets crushed underfoot. Miriam asks the same question generations later and gets struck with disease. Track 12 deliberately breaks the chronology and lets all twelve voices finally sing together.
