In 2010, after studies at the Royal academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, Valeria Farina gave birth to the first prototype of shoe that has since become, the sprightly recognizable LVMM line. Almost immediately, one of their more enthusiastic and amiable concepts, arose from their love of crochet and so they began applying this, modus operandi, to a few varieties of shoe bases, such as their preferred cor
k, and micro coming up with and infusing this classic cork or micro base component with a medley of varying crocheting patterns., that form their 'sock' and 'strap' styles. During this endeavor, LVMM, was researching some other innovative ideas and crossed paths with Arielle de Pinto, who, like LVMM, has a love of crochet and the two teamed up to produce LVMM as we know it today. An adoring following began, of which, turned into a need for a production procedure, beyond their ability to do themselves, so they sought to produce a line with high quality materials from Belgium and Italy to favor their standard for the brand. Since the 'teaming', LVMM has produced a variety of weaving techniques, colors, and designs that peaked buyers, and customers fancies. LVMM has had such a strong following, due in part by having been in several significant boutiques and publications.
