Jyoti - Fair Works ist ein deutsch-indisches Fair Fashion Label, das Kleidung sozial und ökologisch n

Unser Ziel ist es, Kleidung und Accessoires herzustellen, die sowohl unseren Kunden, besonders aber auch allen an der Produktion beteiligten Menschen Freude bereiten – vom Baumwollbauer, über den Weber bis hin zu den Näherinnen. Um das garantieren zu können, ist es uns wichtig, die Menschen zu kennen, die an der Produktion unserer Kleidung beteiligt sind - entlang der gesamten WERTSCHÖPFUNGSKETTE.

In unserer Nähwerkstatt in dem südindischen Örtchen Chittapur beschäftigen wir gemeinsam mit unserem Kooperationspartner, der NGO Jyothi Seva Kendra, sozial benachteiligte Frauen als Näherinnen, bieten ihnen eine dauerhafte Anstellung, diverse Weiterbildungsmöglichkeiten, regelmäßige Krankheitsvorsorgeuntersuchungen sowie ein faires Gehalt. Entlang unserer gesamten Wertschöpfungskette arbeiten wir zudem ausschließlich mit kleinen Familienbetrieben und Kooperativen. In traditioneller Technik weben und bedrucken sie alle unsere Stoffe in liebevoller Handarbeit.

Did I mention that I am attending a wedding soon? It took me quite a while to decide which Jyoti dress to choose. I went for Khushi in Burgundy (first picture) but those were my other favourites.

The most comfy and versatile Top Diyan made of organic flax – I could literally wear it everyday

But as I don’t want to do that to my travel companions I also pack top Chaitania – basically the little sister of Diyan but with a twist

Trouser Megahan made of super soft organic cotton flannel that goes with basically any top and is by far my most comfortable trouser for travelling – pyjama feels but make it look fancy.

A long but super light shirt – my favorite one is Himat in stripy grey-white to protect me from the sun and cover me in the evening

For the potentially chilly evenings my favorite baby-alpaca Cardigan Aipena in a classic grey

Dress Kushi – as I am going to attend a wedding party during my holidays and could hardly think of a more festive dress that I can also downstyle for other occasions

And last but not least toilet Bag Nahaana – to fit everything I need in the bathroom
