Chiffon has always been my weapon of choice and since I found this fluffy fabric I just cannot stop watching it float. Good chiffon always lands after you in a jump and arrives a little late to the party.

Even tho it’s a little mad, I print even my solid colors. I have done two layers skirts in the past and worked with deadstock fabric but it was impossible to keep up with the demand and once you run out you run out. I like that this makes the palette deliberate and I get full freedom when it comes to choosing the perfect tone.

There is a certain magic in the motion of a garment that has a mind of its own and a big chunk of your own mind in it. I’d like to make a dress at some point.

Reposting because insta wrecked my colors last night

Well this one was a headache. But most fun things are bound to give you a headache in my experience.

I don’t know how many times I changed the neckline. I knew i really wanted something low but it’s a b***h and a half to do so and keep it in place without cinching it. ( turns out the trick was to use a chubby scuba fabric).

After long tribulations, I landed on a second half of the 18th century neckline and mounted it on a caraco jacket, loosely based on a much later riding attire - quick trivia, we friendly called them riders because the original design was meant to be cherry red and based on fox hunting jacket.

Too much information on one garment? Absolutely. Have I been dying to try this? Yep. Is it giving Bridgerton? Maybe but Who cares. I loved the series. And the rider looks sexy.

Can’t wait to explore this concept in different directions.
