It’s been almost a year (!!!) since I last posted - time flies when you’re having fun (and not putting any effort into the business). I moved out of the studio in September, officially closed the online shop in November, and de-registered the company on December 31st.
I was contemplating selling the brand, too, but I decided to keep it. Kaliko went live almost exactly 10 years ago and I’m still attached to its mission. I want to keep offering services under this brand, just in a very different capacity. No products, no shipping, no scheduled workshops, no busy weekends. But I am open to further collaborating with artists, designers and brands, as well as simply experimenting with textiles for fun.
