Why do we have to raise so much money?

We have been buying cotton prints in Kenya and Tanzania from a small trusted group of wholesalers for 3 years.
First ‚Nyota‘ disappeared in 2021, then ‚Tausi‘ in 2022 and finally ‚Splash Splash‘ in April 2023!We have to order 1,500 metres for each print – that means for each print we need to collect € 5,000 each print we want to release.

Our design workshop is located in Kibera, one of the poorest yet most lively areas of Nairobi. Here, our female designers create our vibrant jackets.
