Last year the asked us to realize the large-scale installation “Wild Wild Wall” for the artist Coumba Samba . It was an honor to work with you and to support this great project.

Coumba Samba’s project is co-curated and hosted by the London-based project space .

“Wild Wild Wall” is on view at the back wall of the Kunsthalle Basel until August 2026. Have a look!

Designing a grid seems simple but it is a crucial part of design process. The grid for the wine shelf "Walter" had to be just right to keep slender white wine bottles as well as solid red wine bottles at the time.

For dear friends in Vienna we designed and produced an elegant wine shelf named Walter (dimensions variable). We were inspired by Walter de Maria‘s fantastic „The Broken Kilometer“ (1979) in New York and thought of solid brass bolts – a lot of brass bolts!

Welcome to the Ita Res Studio in Biberach an der Riss!

The studio is located in the center of Biberach in Upper Swabia, in the ‚Ströhnlische Haus‘: A Renaissance patrician house with Baroque and modern additions.

We transformed the former ballroom in a studio for guests and also as a show room for our objects and furniture in dialogue with other art and design items.

Visit us in Biberach and have a look yourself. The studio can also be rented. 😉

Finally ready. Welcome to the Ita Res Studio in Biberach an der Riss!

We transformed a somewhat somber space into an open and lightful loft-like apartment that stays true to the historic building surrounding it.

In this living space our Ita Res objects and furniture enter into a dialog with a huge mural and other artworks by the artist Clare Kenny .

We are back with some updates on projects we did this year.

a pink cage as a mobile bookshop: for the CIVIC space at the Basel Academy of Art and Design FHNW we realised a playful and transparent infrastructure element.

Design: Matylda Krzykowski and Anita Mucolli . Project Management: Jenni Schmitt

The concept was developed with students of the during the CoCreate workshop “CIVIC SHOP” in April 2023 held by Matylda Krzykowski . As Ita Res we contributed with inputs on materials and constructions.
