Kantha is an art form, an embroidery stitch practised for generations in Bengal, India. I have grown up seeing my grandothers, mother and aunts all wearing beautiful garments made of sumptuous silk with Kantha embroidery.
Coming from the Bengal region of India, I have a special attachment to this beautiful work of art. Thank you for giving new life to this ancient art form through the lovely artisans in rural Bengal.

▶️Am Sonntag ist Nordstrassenfest, endlich können wir wieder feiern! Und wir haben von 13-18 Uhr fürs euch auf.
▶️ Die Ausstellung Zukunftsfieber der Künstlerin Diana Lelonek können wir euch sehr empfehlen. Es geht um die Veränderungen in den Biosphären. Im polnischen Institut, Citadellstr. 7
▶️Und am Sonntag ist natürlich die Bundestagswahl! Bitte geht unbedingt hin, es kommt wirklich darauf an‼️

These beautiful scarves from are hand dyed in itajime Shibori technique by master craftsmen from India.

Do you love a white, flowy dress as much as we do?
We have a last piece in size M still available. Cut from woven cotton that has delicate gold stripes, it features a wide neckline and close-fitting bodice with interesting for a flattering fit. The straps are decorated with bold florals, all hand embroidered in silk threads and beads.
