Reversible Alpaca Poncho: A Legacy Woven into Fabric

Along the Peruvian coast, the Paracas culture (700 B.C.E.–200 C.E.) created some fascinating textiles using alpaca and vicuña fibers brought from the highlands. Their textiles are characterized by rhythmic, tightly packed designs where foreground and background seamlessly blend, creating mesmerizing visual harmony. Our Alpaca Poncho honors this rich tradition, bringing the artistry of the past into the present.
