Over more than seven decades, iF has developed to become an international standard-setter for excellent design.

iF Design stands for innovative design as a trademark since 1953 and is a market and trend barometer. We host various annual design awards, most notably our renowned iF DESIGN AWARD. Additionally, we organize competitions for well-known clients from all over the world. The iF logo, which is given to our award winners of our competitions, has become an internationally acknowledged symbol of outstan

ding design. It serves as a signal for design-interested audiences in the global economies. So, an iF design award is a valuable advertising instrument, and for end users it's a neutral and independent decision-making aid. It is our aim to strengthen public awareness of design. To achieve this, we take great care in extending the communication network that we have built through our design-oriented activities over the years. With our longtime, multi-faceted know-how in the areas of competition design and management and in all questions related to design and economic issues we have become one of the largest and most respected design centers in the world.

Fresh greens, no backyard needed. 🌱

Roto Farm takes its place among the iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 winners, introducing an indoor hydroponic garden designed to supercharge the growth of herbs and vegetables.

The device includes silent zero-gravity rotation, ultra-bright Sun+ grow lighting and magnetically attached Plant Pads with built-in seeds and nutrients. Its circular design is three times more space efficient than typical horizontal systems and prevents unwanted glare with a rear-facing grow light.

An all-in-one design with a unibody rotating farmbed and 54 magnetic elements, built from stainless steel and anodized aluminum. The new kitchen super-appliance.

The KOKUYO “ingCloud” booth at ORGATEC TOKYO 2025 joins the iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 winners, bringing the new office chair to life through a mesmerizing interplay of light, shadow and spatial design.

Visitors experience the “ingCloud” chair’s floating sensation, feeling as if they are seated atop a cloud, while the booth immerses them in the chair’s design world. Natural curves follow human movement, while soft, translucent veils of varying textures layer across the space.
