Dad you will live on in our hearts forever. Unfortunately, our time together was very limited, but also extraordinarily beautiful.
We fought together, suffered together, won together, laughed and cried together. We travelled together, slept next to each other in front of a mosque in Istanbul and crossed the Balkans on a truck bed.
We fooled around, but we also worked together and enjoyed the victories together. You trained me and also taught me humility, thank you for all that.
When Grandma Dominique passed away, I thought it couldn't get any worse.
But apparently there is a plan for everyone and I hope you are by your mum's side now and you are looking down on us happily.
I love you and will carry you in my heart forever😢❤️
