Todays goodie is an unique organic silk scarf (approx. 50x50 cm, herbal dyed). The shiny satin fabric is smooth and soft. The silk fabrics are woven from Peace Silk in India and come from kbT silk farming. The cloth is made up in a regional workshop in Germany. Todays win is a pillow case (40x40 cm) made of bourette silk. Bourette is very comfy due to it's fluffy feeling and our personal go-to bedding fabric for cold winter days. Against the usual meaning silk is only made for warmer days, bourette fabric proofs you wrong. Silk is only cooling on warmer days and also warming on cooler days. It is temperature balancing just like wool and can be worn summer and winter.

The silk comes from organic farming and is produced without violence (organic and non-violent silk). The short silk threads of the empty cocoons are traditionally spun and machine-woven, giving the fabric its distinctive character.
