There are moments that quietly remind you why you create ✨️✨️✨️

A small glimpse into something still becoming 💙

I’ve been quietly experimenting with cyanotype on upcycled textiles — testing different materials, exposures, layering techniques, and letting the sun guide a lot of the process along the way.

Right now this is still the very early stage of a larger series I’m hoping to release more fully next spring/summer ⏳️

There’s something I love about how slow and unpredictable cyanotype can be: light, water, time, and chance all leaving their mark differently on each piece. Nothing comes out exactly the same twice.

For now, these are just sneak peeks while I explore where the work wants to go ✨

I may have a small number of pieces available around mid-August / early fall, so stay tuned 👀

On Canada Day🇨🇦 nine years ago, Max asked me to marry him on the Sunshine Coast — in my beloved happy place, Robert's Creek BC. 🤍

So much life has happened since these beautiful photos were taken on Gospel Rock by the talented Jen Picard 📷

So many memories, so much love, and a family that grew from this one beautiful moment in time ❤️⏳️

The Sunshine Coast will forever hold a piece of my heart. Every visit feels sacred to me now — layered with memories of who we were then, who we became together, and all the moments we’ve shared since ✨️

Today feels especially meaningful to me. I’m deeply grateful for this life, this journey, and the love that brought us here.

And just like that… I blinked, and my little girl is 8 🤍🎊

She is pure sunshine — full of love, joy, creativity, kindness, compassion, and wisdom far beyond her years. A little nature lover with the biggest heart and the strongest spirit. Watching her grow into the beautiful person she is becoming is one of the greatest privileges of my life.

Today we’re celebrating her big day here in Germany during a summer heat wave ☀️💦

We built a little water playground in the backyard, and she’s spending the day laughing, splashing, and making memories with her closest friends and family 💦🤽‍♀️💧
